Will people be forced into getting vaccinated?

The medical community in America seems to be trying hard to get people to agree that everyone should be vaccinated against some of the diseases vaccinations are available for. The theory is that if everyone is vaccinated, the organisms responsible for the diseases will ultimately go away, since their "success rate" of infecting people will be minimal (hopefully!) and they will disappear.

I'm no expert in these things, but I don't know if bacterium or viruses responsible for some of humanity's diseases will ever really 'go away', since they are part of the natural processes of life on earth, I think.
