Unfortunately, I cannot even say I know a thing about why they were meeting, since the small piece of news I happened to catch was primarily engaged in making commentary about what was seemingly a refusal by President Trump to shake Chancellor Merkel's hand...on camera.
As I watched the clip, I remember thinking: "This can't be real. Why would he refuse to shake hands?"
But, as the camera ran, the scene did appear to become a bit "awkward", as evidenced by 'light talk', facial expression, and body language...even by Angela Merkel.
Oh yeah...what was that meeting about again?? Hmmm...
